My name is Rose Amedi. I was born in Dohuk, Kurdistan, Iraq. I moved to America when I was 6 after living in Jordan for 6 months. I lived in Georgia for 4 years, then moved to Indiana for 3. When I moved back to Georgia, I lived in Rome for 3 years until I finally moved to Suwannee. I enjoy reading, painting, and learning. I also play the violin and have been for 4 years now. Some of my academic interests include psychology, history, cultures and their significance, and languages. I would love to travel and learn about the different cultures of the world, specifically the indigenous cultures. For languages, I speak Kurdish, English, and Spanish with Kurdish being my native language. I hope to learn many other languages, such as Arabic, Mandarin Chinese, Dutch, French, and Japanese. My goal is to be a surgeon for two main reasons: to help people and to have money. The money I earn will go towards not only taking care of and spoiling my family. Since my family is from the Middle East, most of them have not known many daily things that are very commonplace in America. It is my goal to help spoil my family and make a living for myself. I hope to make my parents proud and live a life in which I am happy.
